Connecting the Culm, Event Updates

Create a Better Future for the River Culm

Following on from our Climate Resilience Workshop, we’re holding three Catchment Visioning Workshops to develop the vision that will underpin the Blueprint for the Culm.

We’ll be diving into the future 25 years ahead to explore how we want the River Culm and its tributaries to be, in the face of climate change and the biodiversity crisis. What does the future that we hope for look like? And what needs to change for us to achieve it?

Rob Hopkins will be facilitating each workshop whilst a local artist will be on hand to capture our ideas and fill in the blank spaces with a happier version of the catchment than the one above!

Some of the timings have also been varied from our usual 4.30 start, to give a wider range of people a chance to join us:

  • Tuesday 11 May – 4.30pm
  • Thursday 13 May – 6.30pm
  • Wednesday 19 May – 2.30pm
