NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
- Under section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972, notice is hereby given that a casual vacancy now exists for a Councillor in the Parish of Burlescombe following the resignation of Sarah Dobson.
- If within 14 working days of publication of this notice, an election is requested by 10 persons who are named on the electoral register for Burlescombe, an election to fill the casual vacancy will be held. If no such request is made, the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
- Any request for an election made pursuant to paragraph 2 above should be made in writing and must be made to the Returning Officer at the address below.
